Chief Operating Officer
Yanet Gonzalez is the Chief Operations Officer for Templo Calvario Community Development Corporation (TCCDC). Yanet began working for Templo Calvario CDC in 2012 as a Development Consultant for Edward B. Cole, Sr. Academy Charter School, and then assumed the role of Executive Director of Development in 2015 and four years later, Yanet became the Chief Operations Officer for TCCDC. As COO, Yanet is responsible for overseeing all daily program operations and fundraising growth strategies for the organization.
Since joining TCCDC, Yanet has substantially increased funding and amplified organization visibility, both locally and nationally. Yanet has helped develop innovative, solution-based program strategies for financial empowerment for youth and adults. Yanet works collectively and in partnership with other nonprofit organizations, key regulatory agencies, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, utilities, high tech companies, and major corporations, to advocate for underserved minority communities of color.
Yanet received the “Woman of the Year” award in 2019 from Congressman Lou Correa for her work with underserved communities in Orange County. She is a native Californian and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Vanguard University of Southern California. Yanet lives with her husband, Joey, and their two children, Joseph and Rebekah.
