The Santa Ana Parent Project Continuum Success

The Santa Ana Parent Project continues to move forward with the Raising Highly Capable Kids Parenting Classes that are given in partnership with the Santa Ana Unified School District. Nine schools have successfully completed the 13-week parenting classes while 20 schools currently remain in session. They are expected to complete the curriculum in June 2017. This year we were excited to introduce POM (Parents On a Mission), in which three schools participated. This curriculum was introduced due to the high demand from parents asking that we cover other subject matters. The mission of POM is to turn the hearts of parents to their children and the hearts of children to their parents, as the best practice for preventing children from joining gangs and other negative lifestyles.
