Our mission at Templo Calvario CDC is to work with key communities and stakeholders to unite, build, and transform communities. On October 24, 2017, we held our Inaugural Empowering Lives Dinner. Over 120 guest and staff came together to highlight and celebrate the lives that have been empowered through Templo Calvario CDC programs and made possible by the generosity of great partners.
During the event, we presented the Empowering Lives Awards. The Empowering Lives Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate the outstanding individuals and corporations that embody what is it to empower the lives of others. The awards fall into two categories: individual and corporate.
This year the Empowering Lives Individual Award was presented to Jack Toan, Vice President Community Relations Manager at Wells Fargo Bank. This award is presented to an individual who demonstrates a love for the community by empowering the lives of others through exemplary leadership in various spheres of influence, and goes beyond the confines of his/hers organization and/or work, to continually contribute to the improvement of the lives and welfare of our local community.
Pacific Premier Bank received the Empowering Lives Corporate Award. This award is presented to corporations who exemplifies leadership through their commitment to bettering the communities they serve. Through their commitment and investment of time, finances, and industry expertise, Pacific Premier Bank has been instrumental in helping our communities thrive!
We would like to thank everyone who made this night a success. Because of your support, partnerships, commitment, and generosity together we raised $41,585. Together we will continue to transform lives and transform communities for years to come!
