FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT CENTERS
The mission of our financial empowerment centers is to help individuals and families find financial freedom. This happens when they improve their understanding of financial concepts and services, and receive counseling and assistance in becoming home and/or small business owners.
Financial freedom will only happen when individuals address those barriers that are holding them back. Debt, a limited knowledge of financial concepts and a low credit score are only a few of the barriers that many families face. At our centers families will receive the following services free of charge: professional and financial education as well as counseling and coaching to help them become financially stable.
Our first center is targeted to open in south central Santa Ana in mid-2017. Although the center will be open to all those who need our services, it will primary target residents in that sector of the city.
- Government – The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is a United States government corporation providing deposit insurance to depositors in US banks. Their curriculum and other services help families on their path to financial freedom.
- Business – Banks, local corporations, and city leaders provide a wealth of financial knowledge that brings stability to our local economy. Our partners are:
- Wells Fargo Bank
- Bank of the West
- The South Santa Ana Merchants Association
