EBC Academy Junior Achievement Day with CIT Bank
Article Published: April 21, 2017
Scholars at Edward B.Cole Academy worked with volunteers from CIT Bank to discuss financial literacy at their grade levels. Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement programs help prepare our scholars for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Scholars put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities. Special thanks from all the scholars and staff at EBC Academy to Junior Achievement and the volunteers from CIT Bank who made this happen!
